King Arthur

I painted this while I was reading "The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley.  It's a ferociously long read, so after about fifteen years of owning this book I finally decided to conquer it.  So glad I did!  It's the story of King Arthur, only told from the female perspective.  Lots of pagan stuff and witchery.  Super inspirational.

Also, the newspaper article about my upcoming show, along with a picture of me, was printed in the Sierra Star this week, very edited and without my quotes.  Very nice though.  It's weird when people recognize me in town.
